Fidecum SICAV - Contrarian Value Euroland A

Managed by

Hans-Peter Schupp

As head of asset management at MainFirst Bank AG, Hans-Peter Schupp took charge of the MainFirst Classic Stock and MainFirst SmartCaps funds. He then set up a boutique in 2008 and now runs the Fidecum Sicav Contrarian Value Euroland fund. Schupp employs a fundamental bottom-up investment process, investing in undervalued Eurozone stocks based on either low price to book ratios or normalised earnings over a cycle. Prior to joining MainFirst, Schupp spent six years at Julius Baer Investment GmbH where he was head of equity fund management. He began managing funds in 1992 at Schroeder Muenchmeyer Hengst Investment GmbH. Away from the office Schupp enjoys the rural life. He lives in a small town in the countryside where he relaxes through gardening and playing tennis with his son.
