André Hämmerli was born 1964 in Yokohama. After his education at the University St.Gallen (HSG), he started his career with Nomura Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., Zurich in the institutional sales department in 1991. As head of institutional sales, his focus was the design and implementation of investment strategies for institutional clients. Those strategies were based on Japanese equities and convertible bonds. In the following years, André M. Hämmerli worked as CIO and fund manager. As such, he developed and implemented investment strategies for institutional clients. Since 2016, he works as Head of Asset Management at PMG Fonds Management AG, Zurich. Besides fund-management, André M. Hämmerli enjoys his time with the family, doing sports activities like rowing, swimming and skiing.
The fund invests in the bond markets of the G7 countries: short-term government bonds, government bond futures (bonds) in order to achieve risk-adjusted return.
