About Amit Maugi

Amit Maugi has worked for ESAF since 2006. He is a senior fixed income portfolio manager and runs the Espirito Santo Opportunity and Espirito Santo Global Enhancement funds. For the former he uses a total return/fundamental investment style while for the latter he uses a total return/benchmark orientated strategy. Originally from Maputo in Mozambique, Amit is currently based in Portugal and studied finance at ISCTE - Lisbon University Institute. In his spare time he enjoys soccer, cinema, theatre and music.
