About Oliver Kratz

Oliver Kratz is the Managing Director of Deutsche Asset Management. He joined the company in 1996 and has since served as portfolio manager for the European Equity fund and Global Emerging Markets fund, and as global emerging markets analyst for international equity fund. Prior to this he worked at various investment companies including Merrill Lynch, Brown Brothers Harriman and McKinsey & Co. He had a book published in 1999, ‘Frontier Emerging Markets Securities Price Behaviour and Valuation’. Oliver was educated at Tufts University and Karlova University where he received his Bachelors degree. He also holds a Doctorate which was administered jointly by Harvard University and Tufts University.
