About Roman Gaiser

After gaining degrees in Economics and Business Administration, Roman Gaiser acquired a post-graduate degree in International Economics and Finance from the University of Dauphine, Paris, before entering money management in 1995. He began at Renault Credit International’s France Counterparty Credit Risk team in Boulogne, moving after a year to Paris-based Louis Dreyfus Finance. In 1998 he became a bond analyst at Bankgesellschaft Berlin. In 1992 he started managing the F&C European High Yield Bond fund for F&C Asset Management. Gaiser is currently a fund manager at Threadneedle, running the European High Yield Bond fund. Born in Stuttgart in 1970, Gaiser enjoys hiking, tennis and reading.
